“ An excellent chocolatier and cafe on the ground floor in SO hotel. Beautiful ambience, very chill space and the care and quality in food served is excellent. After 3 stops here it's almost a reason to book into the hotel by itself. Food scores out of 10: Ham and brie toastie 8 Danish 10 (as good as anything in Europe) Hot mocha and hot chocolate 11 Cherry cola float 10 Box of chocolates 9 Chocolate quality is quite excellent hence, and clearly the star ingredient of drinks and foods here. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but for the quality it's good value. We paid about 800b average for 2 drinks and 2 food items (eg Danish and toastie). The chocolates are about 50b each, get a box of 9 for a good selection. ”

It's a vibe that perfect for picking up some chocolate cookies. Just a heads up though, they charged me 100 baht extra for a cup of milk, so watch out for any additions. ”

Nice place for coffee as well, and quiet enough for business meetings or to do a zoom call. It is still a hotel cafe, so don't expect mind blowing stuff. The pastries in particular are not the most refined, but the chocolates are delicious. It is chocolab after all not pastrylab or croissantlab ”
